In what is most definitely a fopah, the Las Vegas Convention Center added Blizzcon 2010 to their calendar schedule for 07/30/2010. In what i consider the next logical step, Las Vegas has a much larger convention center with more of an abundance of hotels for this event.
Blizzard has not confirmed this date and venue, but they will not deny it. The information has been taken off of the Convention Centers web site, but we happen to have a screenshot of the information. Enjoy.
Update: Because Blizzard has not officially announce this we do NOT recommend making any travel arrangements or any other plans to attend the event.

Update: Various sites are also now showing that the Blizzard quote obtained confirms that Blizzcon is not being held in Las Vegas. At this point we can't confirm one way or the other.
Update: Bashiok has now confirmed that Las Vegas is not where Blizzcon will be held.

We haven't announced any plans for future BlizzCon events, but we're clarifying that it won't be in Vegas.
Irvine is a tradition. There are plenty of larger conventions around the world, which they have attended, and they have not changed there. Anaheim convention center is much closer and much more convenient, along with half a decade's tradition under its belt.
I highly doubt they will move it to Vegas.

ym, ya, remember when I said they needed to fire whoever is runing there public face? this is one example of why.
Are they seriously going to have another Blizzcon before they release this game?
