Well the official Starcraft II site has been updated with an amazing short story about the evolution of the Baneling called Broken Wide by Cameron Dayton who is a Writer/World Designer over at Blizzard.

More of a treat is the cool artwork of a swarm of Banelings used to give a visual to the story. Upon further investigation one can find that the art work is by none other then Mr.Jack a respected figure in the Starcraft art community who recently was hired by Blizzard.

The story is simply amazing for only seven pages so every one should give it a read. And if your a big fan of Mr.Jack's art work, then feel free to drool at your screen.
