Description

As Protoss technology went one step forward, they invented the Phase Prism, the new transportation which replaces the Shuttle. Using a crystal 'brain' for the most precision for such a delicate operation, the Phase Prism can transform matter into energy, effectively storing it, and rematerializing it, thus being the perfect system of transportation as size no longer matters. In other words, even the titanic colossus can be 'carried'. This is however not the only function of the Phase Prism, as its inventors have integrated Pylon technology in its conception. It is able to deploy and cast a Psionic Matrix, acting as an emergency Pylon.

Phasing Mode
Phasing Mode

The Phasing Mode of the Phase Prism allows it to, anywhere it wishes, turn into a floating Pylon, extending a Psionic Matrix around it, effectively repowering unpowered Protoss structures. Used in conjunction with Warp Gates, the Phase Prism in Phasing Mode is the tool required for easy and fast bringing-in of reinforcements.
