As any Protoss settlement develops to full scale, it is in need of Stargates to complete its maturity. Stargates allow the Warp In of spacecraft, recalling vessels from over great distances, or even from high orbit, into the warring zone. Stargates are key structures which will truly drive battles to epic magnitude by allowing the Protoss fleet rapid travel between worlds. Like most Protoss structures, the Stargate needs to be in a Psionic Matrix to function.
