Drop Pods are a new Terran device, and they bring much versatility to their strategies. Manually loaded with up to twelve infantries, it can be launched from the Shadow Ops to any place in range of the Ghost painting the landing site. Once it lands, it deploys and the soldiers exit, dropping a battle. This is a very useful method of setting up ambushes or assaulting bases quickly and in force.

A Shadow Ops can have only one Drop Pod and one Nuclear Missile at a time, but cannot contain two Drop Pods or two Nuclear Missiles at the same time.
